From September 11 to 12, 2026, the Creative Activity Development Division of CSPD, led by Asst. Prof. Thanasun Theprat, Assistant to the President for Student Promotion and Development, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Marisa Bhumiphak Na Nongkhai, Director of CSPD, convened the “1st Strategic Workshop for Walailak University School and College Alumni Committees” at X-Sea Khanom Harbor Bay Resort.

The workshop gathered 45 university executives, alumni leaders, and administrative officers. Key proceedings included the Walailak Alumni Synergy Session panel featuring Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarawut Palipoch, Vice President for Academic Affairs in Health Sciences, alongside distinguished alumni leaders. Through World Café sessions and Future Search gap analyses facilitated by Asst. Prof. Acting Sub Lt. Dr. Jaturon Chutithornphong from Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, the assembly drafted a multi-year alumni roadmap, set strategic KPIs, and formulated flagship cross-departmental programs such as the university-wide Homecoming initiative, achieving a 95.6% participant satisfaction rating.
