CSPD Advances "Wednesday Afternoon Activity Curriculum" to Integrate Well-being and Learning for AY 2027
From September 4 to 5, 2026, the Center for Student Promotion and Development, through its Creative Activity Development Division, organized a curriculum design workshop titled “Structuring and Drafting the Wednesday Afternoon Activity Curriculum” for formal integration into academic timetables starting in the 2027 academic year. Faculty representatives from diverse schools collaborated to draft course structures, define operational roles, and establish coordinated implementation plans.
Centering on student-driven engagement, the curriculum promotes balanced student growth under the theme “Smart, Good, and Happy,” offering flexible co-curricular alternatives beyond traditional classroom boundaries. Prototype activities will pilot next semester for iterative refinement prior to submission to the Academic Council. The meeting also addressed critical welfare priorities, specifically student defense against telecom fraud syndicates and traffic accident mitigation measures.
