On September 11, 2026, Ms. Sunantha Sriead, Head of the Sports Science Teaching Support and Services Division, represented Walailak University at the preparatory coordination meeting for the 46th National School Games (AY 2027), “Nakhon Si Thammarat Games,” held at the Sriwichai Meeting Room, Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Hall. Mr. Witthaya Kheawrod, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat, presided over the session alongside delegates from the Department of Physical Education, provincial tourism offices, and educational bodies.

The tournament will take place from February 5 to 14, 2027, featuring 24 official competitive sports and 3 demonstration sports. Walailak University will officially host and facilitate competitions in four major disciplines: Swimming, Futsal, Football, and Woodball, following joint on-site venue assessments with municipal inspection teams.
