Walailak University Students Win 4 Medals at JUDOKU OPEN 2025
Walailak University students proudly won four awards at the “JUDOKU OPEN 2025,” a prestigious university-level judo competition that brought together more than 35 institutions nationwide.
On February 14–15, 2025, Walailak University students participated in the “JUDOKU OPEN 2025” held at the Gymnasium, Faculty of Sports Science, Kasetsart University. With over 35 universities from across the country competing, Walailak University athletes showcased their talent and secured a total of four awards:
🥇🥇 First Place (2 awards)
1. Mr. Teerapat Bumi, 2nd-year student, School of Education, Physical Education Program – Individual Fighting (Advanced Division), age 18–27 years, weight class >66 kg to ≤73 kg.
2. Mr. Ronakrit Jitchuchuen, 2nd-year student, School of Political Science and Public Administration, Political Science Program – Individual Fighting (Beginner Division, White–Green Belt), age 18–27 years, weight class >60 kg to ≤66 kg.
🥈🥈 First Runner-up (2 awards)
1. Mr. Natthapong Phutyai, 2nd-year student, School of Education, Physical Education Program – Individual Fighting (Beginner Division), age 18–27 years, weight class >55 kg to ≤60 kg.
2. Mr. Yongyot Yingyong, 2nd-year student, School of Education, Physical Education Program – Individual Fighting (Advanced Division), age 18–27 years, weight class ≥100 kg.
