AJAC Editorial Team Receives Bouquet of Congratulations for Acceptance into Scopus
The Asian Journal of Arts and Culture (AJAC), Walailak University, has officially been accepted into the international Scopus database under the TCI-TSRI-Scopus Phase 2 project.
The editorial team of the Asian Journal of Arts and Culture (AJAC), Walailak University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Urai Jareeprapal, Vice President in charge and Journal Advisor, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Marisa Poomiphak Na Nongkhai, Director of the Center for Cultural and Sports Promotion, Associate Professor Dr. Sarawut Palipoch, Managing Editor responsible for submitting the journal to the TCI-TSRI-Scopus Phase 2 project, Assistant Professor Dr. Thanaphas Detpavuttikul, current Editor-in-Chief, and the Art and Culture Preservation Division team, received congratulatory bouquets from Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University. The recognition was presented on the occasion of AJAC’s official acceptance into the Scopus database during the February 2025 Executive Meeting held at Chor Pradu Meeting Room, Walailak University Hospital.
The AJAC journal was accepted into the Scopus database within just seven days, having been submitted on January 22, 2025, and accepted on January 29, 2025, under the TCI-TSRI-Scopus Phase 2 (2023–2026): “Accepted by Scopus” project led by the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI). The evaluation process was supported by Professor Dr. Narongrit Sombatsompop and Associate Professor Dr. Damrong Adulyaritthikul as Thai Local Board members, under the guidance and support of TCI and TSRI.
