Division of Arts and Culture Promotion Presents Research and Academic Service Proposals for the 2027 Budget Year under the Plant Genetic Conservation Project Initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (RSPG)

Center for Cultural and Sports Promotion of Walailak University Presents Research Projects for RSPG 2027 Funding – Focusing on the Development of Tumpang Archaeological Site and the Sustainability of Nora Performance

On 5 June 2025, the Division of Arts and Culture Promotion, Center for Cultural and Sports Promotion, Walailak University, participated in the activity “Presentation of Research and Academic Service Proposals for the Plant Genetic Conservation Project Initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (RSPG), Fiscal Year 2027”. The event was organized by the RSPG–Walailak University Coordination Center, Walailak Botanic Garden, at Khao Luang Meeting Room, Cooperative Education Building, Walailak University.
During the event, the Center presented two research project proposals for RSPG funding in the 2027 fiscal year as follows:
1. Project on Developing the Tumpang Archaeological Site into a Living Cultural Heritage Learning Center through Local Resources and Innovations by Ms. Wilawan Vichaidit.
2. Project on Nora: Cultural Capital for Creative and Sustainable Development by Ms. Pennapa Waiwek.

Both projects received valuable recommendations from distinguished experts, including Dr. Piyarat Parinyapong Charoensap, Assistant Director of the RSPG Project; Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Chotiphan, Advisor to Walailak Botanic Garden; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatchai Kalyanapan, Acting Director of Walailak Botanic Garden. Their feedback will be incorporated to enhance future work in archaeology, culture, and local wisdom with greater diversity and depth.
