Deputy Director of the Center for Student Promotion and Development Serves as Judge for the 2026 Royal Pattern Fabric Contest, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province
On August 6, 2026, Mr. Theerapong Chuaychoo, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, presided over the screening and judging of the provincial-level contest for the Royal Pattern Fabrics “Pha Lai Khor Somdet – Chao Fa” and “Pha Lai Buppha Boromrajininat” and Handicrafts for the Year 2026 at Chaiyaphruek Room, Grand Park Hotel, Mueang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
Lecturer Nutchanart Rodsa-ard, Deputy Director of the Center for Student Promotion and Development, served as a judge alongside several other qualified experts in craftsmanship and artisanal arts.
Nakhon Si Thammarat Province has adopted the royal initiative “Pha Thai Sai Hai Sanuk” (Fun Wearing Thai Fabrics) of HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya to tangibly drive the preservation, protection, and enhancement of local wisdom. The royal patterns “Pha Lai Khor Somdet – Chao Fa” and “Pha Lai Buppha Boromrajininat” served as design templates for Thai fabrics and handicrafts. This contest received cooperation from all 23 districts, submitting a total of 354 entries, which were judged under strict criteria to promote local wisdom, standardize Thai fabric quality, and support community-level value creation.
