On April 20, 2026, at the Cho Pradu Meeting Room, Chulabhornvechwat Building, Walailak University Medical Center, Dr. Mongkol Teerananond, Vice President for University Relations and Development, chaired the organizing committee meeting for the 52nd University Games of Thailand (Meeting No. 2/2026). Chairpersons and secretaries of various committees fully attended the meeting.

Key issues from the meeting:

• The meeting reviewed the names and roles of all 18 sub-committees to prepare official appointment orders and enhance readiness in driving all dimensions of the work.
• All parties presented their action plans and budgets. Overall, the current operations have progressed by over 65%, which is in accordance with the specified plan.
• A follow-up meeting (No. 3/2026) is scheduled for May 19, 2026, to ensure that preparations proceed smoothly and efficiently.

The university is ready and committed to being a great host to welcome athletes from all over the country for the 52nd University Games of Thailand, “Tumpang Games,” scheduled between January 21-30, 2027.
