On February 12, 2026, executives and staff of the Center for Student Promotion and Development, Walailak University, attended a press conference where Nakhon Si Thammarat Province announced its readiness to host the 46th National Student Sports Competition “Nakhon Si Thammarat Games” in 2027 at Cresco Hotel, Buriram. Nakhon Si Thammarat Province showcased its full potential regarding venues, personnel, and comprehensive management.

On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Thanasan Theparat, Assistant to the President for Student Promotion and Development; Acting Sub Lt. Worawit Praditkarn, Deputy Director of the Center for Student Promotion and Development; and Mr. Suriyan Tuengsaeng, Creative Activity Development Officer, Center for Student Promotion and Development, participated in the event. Hosting this competition is a significant opportunity to develop youth, promote the province’s image, and stimulate the local economy.

The 46th National Student Sports Competition 2027 “Nakhon Si Thammarat Games” in Nakhon Si Thammarat is expected to be held in early February 2027. The host, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, plans to organize competitions for about 24-26 sports, but a meeting must be held to reach a conclusion on this matter with the Department of Physical Education once again.
