Center for Student Promotion and Development Organizes Workshop for Student Speakers to Develop Professional Communication Skills

The Communication and Leadership Skills Development Project (The Best Speech of WU) for the 2026 fiscal year featured its first sub-activity: a workshop for student speakers (2 cohorts) on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the Hua Taphan Meeting Room, Chulabhornvechwat Building, Walailak University Hospital.

The workshop for student speakers was successfully conducted with cooperation from the organizing team, the Creative Activity Development Division, the Student Well-being Promotion Division, the Arts and Culture Preservation Division, and the General Administration and Clerical Division.

The training was divided into 2 cohorts (morning-afternoon) with a total of 145 participating students (78 in cohort 1 and 67 in cohort 2) to prepare them as speakers for the 4 Rally Speech activity stations: Gratitude, Discipline, Volunteer Spirit, and Leadership Development.

  • Module 1: Students learned the core concepts and in-depth objectives of the 4 skill stations in accordance with the university’s identity.
  • Module 2: Workshop on station leadership, utilizing tools, training techniques, and small group management for maximum communication efficiency.

Quantitative Results: Participating students successfully completed the training as targeted to serve as speakers for 137 activity rooms.
Qualitative Results: The satisfaction evaluation from participants was at the high to highest level at 100 percent, and the operational results met the specified plan at 100 percent.
