Walailak University convened the 5th meeting of the Organizing Committee for the 41st Thailand University Staff Games “Tumpang Games”, to review progress and readiness ahead of the national sporting event.

On April 8, 2025, Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, presided over the 5th meeting of the Organizing Committee for the 41st Thailand University Staff Games “Tumpang Games”, held at Moklan Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Professor Dr. Wichit Srisa-arn Building, Walailak University, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The meeting was attended by representatives from all organizing subcommittees.

Key agenda items included a summary of the recently held press conference, progress reports from each subcommittee, and updates on the readiness of both main and secondary competition venues to ensure smooth operations and compliance with national standards. The “Tumpang Games” is regarded as a major sporting event, bringing together staff athletes from universities across Thailand to compete in multiple disciplines, with Walailak University honored to serve as this year’s host.
