On July 8, 2022, the Center for the Promotion of Culture and Sports by the Arts and Culture Preservation Department with the Buddhist Society Walailak Club and Wat Khlong Din has held a candle casting ceremony for the year 2022 at the yard of tham, Walailak University so that students, staff and Buddhists can maintain Buddhism and keep this good tradition to last forever. The candles will be presented to the temples surrounding Walailak University, totaling 9 temples.

Therefore, this casting candle is called “Phansa Candle” or “Phansa Phansa Candle”, which is considered to be very merit. Candle casting and offering candles are a tradition of Buddhists since ancient times to the present.
