13 sports personnel from Walailak University participated in the 1st training program on \u201cInnovative Teaching and Learning Management under UKPSF,\u201d enhancing modern and effective teaching skills in physical education.<\/strong><\/p>

On October 22, 2024, a total of 13 sports personnel from the Center for Cultural and Sports Promotion, Walailak University<\/strong>, including part-time lecturers, academic staff, and officers, joined the training program \u201cInnovative Teaching and Learning Management under UKPSF\u201d<\/strong> for physical education academics (1st batch) at the Phattharathammaphorn Conference Room, Walailak University<\/strong>.<\/p>

The training featured three distinguished experts as speakers:
1. Asst. Prof. Dr. Suthanya Duang-in<\/strong>, Assistant to the President and Acting Director of the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching
2. Dr. Pramet Hemrachatnon<\/strong>, School of Medicine, Sport and Exercise Science Program
3. Mr. Worawit Praditkan<\/strong>, School of Education, Faculty of Education and Liberal Arts<\/p>

The training program covered the following key topics:
1. Outcome-Based Education and Constructive Alignment: Foundations for Effective Teaching and Learning<\/strong> \u2013 introducing the principles of OBE and how to design learning activities aligned with intended learning outcomes, teaching strategies, and effective assessments.
2. Introducing the UKPSF 2023 Framework<\/strong> \u2013 providing an overview of the UK Professional Standards Framework 2023 and its application in teaching development and educational excellence.
3. Fundamentals of Innovative Assessment<\/strong> \u2013 offering foundational concepts and examples of modern and context-appropriate assessment methods.
4. AI for Smart Teaching<\/strong> \u2013 exploring the use of AI technology to support instructional design, teaching, and assessment, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of digital-age learning.<\/p>

On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surin Maisrikrod, Vice President of Walailak University<\/strong>, also provided additional guidance on teaching Generic Skills<\/strong> in physical education courses, further enriching the participants\u2019 knowledge and expanding their professional capacity.<\/p>

This training program marked an important step in enhancing the professional competencies of Walailak University\u2019s sports personnel, equipping them to deliver high-quality teaching aligned with international standards and to meet the learning needs of 21st-century students.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
