On April 10, 2023, the Center for Cultural and Sports Promotion Center Academic Service Center Walailak University Along with the community of Village No. 6, Hua Taphan Subdistrict, and the Community of Village No. 8, Thai Buri Subdistrict, Tha Sala District, jointly organized the Songkran tradition. Pouring water to ask for blessings from the elderly to continue the good traditions of Thailand that create unity unity of people in the community As well as preserving and continuing the art and culture of the Songkran tradition at the central hall of the Architecture and Design Building of Walailak University. The atmosphere is lively, with the administrators, faculty, personnel, students of the university, honored guests, and community leaders always present. Participate in a large number of events<\/div>

Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, Acting President of Walailak University, said that Walailak University Realized the value and importance of building good relationships between communities. Therefore, the activity “Walailak Songkran Continuing the Tradition” was held, which is considered a good tradition of Thai people that has been inherited for a long time. It is a cultural heritage that reflects the prosperity of Thailand. and is the pride of Thai people In addition, children and grandchildren will be able to show their gratitude to the benefactors they respect. Joined together to pour water on the heads of elders for blessings for prosperity<\/div>

During the event, elderly people in the community surrounding the university were invited. who have made contributions to the community and society for a long time for children and grandchildren of Walailak University He poured water on his head and made a wish. Pouring water on Buddha images brings good luck in your next work. There are student entertainment performances.
