On May 18, 2023, Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, Acting President of Walailak University Gave advice to athletes and university personnel Before traveling to participate in the 39th University Personnel Games of Thailand “The Happiness Games” between May 25 – June 3, 2023 at Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University, with Asst. Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong gave a sermon to athletes that Playing sports is a good thing that helps everyone. Have good health and strength, able to train us to be disciplined people. Be committed, have a good heart, and practice working as a team. Importantly, it gives us spirit. Have sportsmanship, know how to lose, know how to win, and how to forgive.
 

Walailak University has plans to continuously develop sports. Both in terms of improving the original stadium so that it is always ready for use. and building a new stadium Improving the landscape to be shady and beautiful because we believe that if everyone is healthy Things will be good as well. In 2025, Walailak University will also co-host the university personnel sports competition.

For this personnel sports competition, Walailak University sent 94 athletes and officials to participate, consisting of athletes, team managers, 89 coaches, and a working group of 5 people in 9 sports, including football, men’s volleyball, tennis, aerobics, table tennis, badminton, snooker – billiards, petanque, and athletics.
