Walailak University organized an activity to continue the merit-making tradition of the year 2023

January 12, 2023, The Center for Cultural and Soprts  Promotion  by the Art and Culture Preservation Department Organize an event to continue the tradition of giving alms for the year 2023, which is a local tradition of Nakhon Si Thammarat Buddhists at Lantham, Chopradu Food Center. Walailak University to provide personnel Students are aware of the importance of applying the principles and teachings of religion. Apply it to live your life correctly and appropriately. and to inherit the heritage of Thai wisdom, tradition, and culture.
 
Received mercy from the Royal Pardon. Advisor to the Abbot of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province was the monastic president and was honored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worawut Somsak, acting vice president presided over the ceremony along with executives Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surin Maisrikrot, Acting Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarawut Paliphot, Acting Vice President Dr. Mongkol Thirananon, Acting Assistant to the President Asst. Prof. Dr. Marisa Phetchak at Nong Khai Acting Director of the Cultural and Sports Promotion Center Mr. Chalermchai Nilkan, Vice President of Tha Sala District Cultural Council Along with personnel, students of Walailak University and the public, more than 600 people attended this event. Tha Sala Subdistrict Municipality also received merit money in the amount of 16,132 baht
 
The Center for Cultural and Soprts  Promotion  I would like to express my gratitude and thanks to the various agencies both inside and outside the university that have come to join in donating electricity this time. To join in preserving and continuing the tradition of giving alms to Buddhists in Nakhon Si Thammarat as an example for future generations.
